Real language can feel impossible at first. Stage 2 is about adding enough support that you can follow meaning instead of drowning in unknown words.

Use this page as a practical focus for your next few sessions, not as a rulebook. The roadmap is meant to help you choose what matters now and ignore what can wait.

Use support without shame

Captions, replay, slower playback, translations, dictionaries, and short clips are not cheating. They are how you turn raw language into something your brain can work with.

The best support keeps you connected to the message. If a tool turns every sentence into a puzzle that takes five minutes, use it less or choose easier material.

Choose easier content than you want to brag about

Familiar topics, strong visuals, repeated formats, and short episodes are your friends. A cooking video, travel vlog, children's story, or learner podcast may teach you more than a prestige drama you barely understand.

Difficulty is useful only when meaning is still visible. If everything is noise, go easier.

Look up blockers, not everything

A blocker is a word or phrase that stops you from following the main idea. Look those up. Let many smaller unknowns pass by until they become important.
